At about 4:50 on a Friday afternoon, Donna Park had the very unfortunate task of informing me that half my critical shipment had been delivered and the other half was lost. Donna gave me the upsetting news and explained what was being done. She did so in a manner that showed true concern for my needs. However, Donna went beyond her job requirements and took a personal interest in resolving the issue. She investigated and discovered a discrepancy in the information. She called me to obtain a contact at my customer so she could investigate further. At the time she called, my customer was physically checking the shipment, so I was not able to provide any data. But Donna left her personal cell phone number so I could contact her as soon as I learned the outcome. Before I could confirm the shipment had actually been received in full, Donna called and told me the report of the lost goods was wrong. All material had been delivered. It was well after 5 p.m. when she called. Even if the worst had occurred, I would be writing to inform you of my high regard for Donna. Her truthfulness, courage, dedication and responsibility resolved this situation.

Recently we traveled round-trip to Calgary. Because of a couple of previous bad experiences with transport trucks, I was very nervous driving, especially through Northern Ontario.

Aside from the fantastic scenery, the first thing I noticed was the professionalism of the truckers. YRC Reimer really stood out. Your guys were so courteous, not tailgating, pulling over to allow passing when their trucks were slow going uphill, helpful with advice on motels, routes, etc., and in no way intimidating to other drivers.

During one stretch of night driving through a "Danger-Watch for Moose"' area, my husband and I were beginning to feel apprehensive, not knowing the highway or where the next rest area might be. Sure enough, one of your boys passed us and we felt so safe as we followed him.

I cannot say enough about Reimer and your drivers. They are the BEST. Is there any way you can pass this on to them? My confidence in truckers has been restored.

Dear sirs:
I just came back to Oakville, Ontario, from our cottage near Parry Sound, Ontario.

I was driving alone and was fortunate enough to be able to follow two of your trucks all the way from Parry Sound to Highway 89, about 2 hours, from about quarter to 5 p.m. to quarter to 7 p.m. These two drivers were the best drivers I have seen on the road. The trucks stayed at 100 km the whole time, stayed on the inside lane until we got to the merge of the 400 when they moved to the middle lane, and a few meters further on I realized why—there was a sign saying, "trucks stay in the centre lane". I was really comfortable behind them because they were such good drivers. They did everything right, moved out of the inside lane when cars were parked on the shoulder so they wouldn't hit anyone, passed those cars going 90 and stayed at 100 km the whole time.

I was really sorry to lose them at highway 89. I only got the number of the truck I was right behind, I think it was number 166061, but didn't get the number of the first truck. They stayed right together. Thanks for having such good drivers on the road and thanks to those two truckers for helping me to get home.
