On March 1, 2009 Yellow and Roadway integrated networks, capabilities and resources to become YRC. Historically, it was the most significant undertaking in the LTL industry. While there were some service interruptions during cutover, within the first few weeks service levels are above pre-integration levels and climbing.

>> "On-Time" performance when measured against pre-integration service levels is trending above system goals for the "Network."
>> Guaranteed and expedited services are now performing at expected levels. Shipments are being delivered at 98% or better. (see chart below)
>> Our Canadian shipments are clearing at a 97% electronic rate which is above pre-integration levels.
>> Customer support functions are exceeding 100% performance with an overall call cue of 11 seconds, exceeding pre-integration performance.
>> All quote and pickup calls have no waiting times.

Every year, the American Trucking Associations sponsor the National Truck Driving Championships (NTDC).
The industry's safest and most-skilled drivers strive to qualify for this challenging competition. For many, it's a yearly safety goal. To get there, drivers must be accident-free for one year before the event and place first in their state contest among other eligibility requirements.
Currently, three drivers have qualified to represent their states and YRCW: David Messmer (Glendale, AZ) Flatbed; Greg Nauertz (Glendale, AZ) 5-Axle; and Stacy Sansom (Shreveport, LA) Twin Trailers.

We are pleased to have released our first updates to my.yrc based on valuable customer feedback.
These updates should assist my.yrc users in the shipment process within the bill of lading application or labeling shipments.
Recent my.yrc updates:
1) Search function added within the template file folder
2) Purchase order numbers now print on the labels
3) Email bill of lading (BOL) option and pickup request option is also on the second page of the BOL
4) A clear button has been added to the consignee section
YRC listens to customer feedback and will continue to provide additional my.yrc enhancements to meet your future needs.
