
Clayton Gording today was named President of Reimer Express Lines Ltd. The appointment is effective immediately.
Reimer is a subsidiary of Roadway Express and is a leading Canadina provider of industrial, retail and commercial transportation services. The company's fully integrated, state-of-the-art transportation system extends across Canada, the United States, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
Vice President of Operations since 2001, Gording was responsible for all service center operations, line haul operations, vehicle purchasing, companywide vehicle maintenance and labor relations. He began his career with Reimer in 1966, serving in a variety of clerical positions at the Regina, Saskatchewan, service center.
Gording broadened his knowledge of the business and the industry over the next 42 years. He had responsibility for a range of sales and management roles that included appointments to vice president of western operations in 1994 and vice president of terminal operations in 1997.

Outside his professional duties at Reimer, Gording has also served in director and executive roles, including president from 2006–2008, for the Manitoba Trucking Association (MTA). He is now the past president. In addition, he served on the board of the Canadian Trucking Association (CTA) from 2006–2008.
