my.yrc.com Rate Quote and Bill of Lading Enhancements [06.08.2009]
The introduction of my.yrc.com (our secure, personalized, suite of online shipping tools) brought many new web enhancements to YRC customers, and feedback has been positive. We strive to continuously improve our tools to better serve your transportation needs.
We've listened to recommendations customers have submitted and are pleased to provide enhancements to the my.yrc.com Rate Quote, Rate Quote File Folder and Bill of Lading (BOL) as a result of those suggestions:
- Rate Quote: A streamlined entry screen offers you access to the entire portfolio of YRC services, including Expedited PrecisionTM, Guaranteed PrecisonTM and Truckload solutions. Other enhancements include:
- Hidden and expandable search fields make it easy to navigate Rate Quote—regardless of whether you are managing 1 or 100 shipping locations
- Simplified hazardous materials quoting
- Rate Quote results now offer more detail (including service days and easier visibility to direct/indirect service)
- Rate Quote IDs are provided in your rate quote detail page for standard and guaranteed shipments
- Rate Quote file folder: Save time and clicks when looking up previously created rate quotes. Now the Rate Quote file folder automatically displays your 25 most-recent quotes
- BOL: Instead of printing the BOL Terms and Conditions with every BOL, you can now accept the Terms and Conditions online, which eliminates the need to print, thus reducing paper consumption. That's good for the environment and cost-effective for your company.
