2 YRC New Jersey drivers won state class championships to advance to National Truck Driving Championships [07.13.2009]

Two YRC drivers won their classes at the New Jersey state truck driving championships over the weekend to earn the right to compete at the National Truck Driving Championships (NTDC).

YRC drivers won the New Jersey team trophy. In addition to the team trophy, YRC driver Charlie Shaver, from Stroudsburg, Pa. (120), received the Dave Borngasser Sportsman Award for his years of support and participation in the championships. And Nick Caiola, from Kearny, was the runner-up for the Driver of the Year award. He placed second in the tanker class.

These YRC Worldwide drivers will represent their states and YRC at the 2009 National Truck Driving Championships from Aug. 17–22 in Pittsburgh.
