YRC simplifies pricing for expedited ground services [03.24.2010]

Our convenient, single-rate request tool features base LTL pricing plus an incremental up-charge for varying levels of speed and precision.

YRC today announced simplified pricing for the company's Expedited Precision^TM services. Effective March 22, rates for expedited and guaranteed ground service options, including YRC Time-Critical^TM and YRC Time-Advantage^TM, will be priced using standard LTL rates as the base. Personalized prices will then be calculated as a percentage premium added to each customer's normal LTL discounted rates, depending on the level of speed and precision requested.

Customers can easily select the price and value option that is right for them by submitting a rate quote request through my.yrc.com. The rate request tool generates all available YRC service and price options, including guaranteed standard delivery, expedited delivery and time-specific window delivery as precise as one hour. In addition, customers do not have to enter dimensions and pieces to receive expedited ground rates.

• YRC Time-Critical service featuring expedited delivery before noon, before 5 p.m. or as precise as a one-hour window along with dedicated equipment service options. The service is backed by a 100-percent, customer-satisfaction guarantee with proactive notification managed by a dedicated YRC customer support team.
• YRC Time-Advantage service featuring expedited a.m., p.m. and deferred delivery with a high level of reliability, but without a guarantee for a cost-effective alternative.
• YRC Guaranteed AM^TM and PM^TM service featuring standard delivery by noon or 5 p.m. with a money-back guarantee.
• YRC Multiday Window^TM service featuring guaranteed delivery within a specified 2- to 5-day window.
