Rate Quote, Rate Quote File Folder and Pickup enhancements will improve your experience [04.28.2010]
We've recently made some changes to the Rate Quote, Rate Quote Folder and Pickup tools on my.yrc.com that should improve your experience using them:
Rate Quote
- Changed the label for volume quotes in the Type of Rate Quote section to Spot Truckload, which is more familiar to most people.
- Added a Comments field in the Rating Details section. But note that comments you enter here do not transfer to Pickup or Bill of Lading.
- Provided an NMFC example under the column heading in the line-item section.
- Added CTN (carton) as a piece-type selection.
- In Service options section, added text to request that people enter window dates to obtain a Guaranteed Window quote. The text appears when you select the Guaranteed Window option.
Rate Quote File Folder
Inquiries
- View standard guaranteed, guaranteed morning and guaranteed day quotes.
- New filter and sort capabilities.
Booked Quotes
- Added buttons to the quote details screen to copy a quote or send quote information to bill of lading or pickup, so you can more quickly complete your information to schedule your shipment.
- Quote IDs no longer appear for detail matrix views.
- Buttons include Print and Back to Summary page.
Pickup
Added labels to notes fields to indicate who (driver or dispatcher) receives the notes.
