Canada Cross-Border

Minimize Your Costs, Homeland Security

Participating in border security initiatives can decrease homeland security costs for your supply chain.

Customs will give C-TPAT and homeland security participants faster border crossings through dedicated lanes. YRC fulfills the service provider requirements specified in the C-TPAT Supply Chain Security Questionnaire.

We worked with federal agencies to help develop the transportation requirements for these highway carrier programs:

  • U.S. Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT)
  • Canada Partners in Protection (PIP) and
  • Canada and U.S. Free and Secure Trade (FAST)

In return for participating in these initiatives, U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Canada Customs Revenue Agency promise importers faster processing and fewer inspections. To participate, importers must use carriers that are approved for these programs.

YRC was one of the first carriers authorized to participate in these federally backed programs for protecting the supply chain. Our border management leadership positions our Customer Support centers to meet your need for fast, reliable and secure cross-border services.

YRC is ISO-certified. We connect North America with our reliable cross-border service.
