Many types of products qualify as freezables, but not all are included in the Freezable Protection program. YRC provides freezable protection to such industries as chemical and allied products, food and beverage, candy, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and agricultural. 4. When is the YRC Freezable Protection service available?
YRC is the only carrier to provide year-round protection on its Freezable Protection program. The primary season is from September through April. 5. How much does Freezable Protection cost?
The YRC Freezable Protection service is free to qualified shippers in the continental United States and for shipments to and from Canada and Mexico. There is a charge for the use of heated trailers for shipments originating and delivering in Canada. 6. How do I get more information or sign up for the YRC Freezable Protection program?
