YRC delivers confidence with our Insulated Cover program—part of our Shipment Protection solution.

Our state-of-the-art insulated covers, available from Nov. 1 through April 15, provide protection against cold temperatures.

Insulated Cover program was designed and tested to meet your specific requirements and includes:

Space-Age Construction
  • Our covers are designed from space-age fiber that guarantees protection against cold temperatures
  • The covers are form-fitted to protect drums (fiber, steel and plastic) and 48"x42" pallets
  • Covers are available from Nov. 1 through April 15
  • Our insulated covers are available in three different configurations:
    • Drum
    • Tote
    • Pallet
Proven Performance
  • Extensively tested on more than 5,500 shipments with a 99-percent success rate
  • Freezable Protection
  • Designed to safeguard your shipment—this program includes daily weather forecast notification and proven, effective shipment-loading procedures
How to Get Started
  • Contact your YRC account executive or service center to apply for the program.
  • Once approved, simply write "Cover Protection Required" on the bill of lading or use an Insulated Covers BOL sticker.

Note: A value-added premium of 25 percent is added to each shipment (subject to a $35 minimum charge).
