Online Export Documentation
Complete shipping documents online at my.yrc.com. A YRC bill of lading and a commercial
invoice are created. Two sets are provided. Keep a copy for yourself and give one to your YRC driver. If you
prefer paper-based forms contact your customer account executive or YRC account executive.
- Shipper name, address and phone number
- Consignee name, address and phone number
- Mexico broker name, address and phone number
- Forwarding agent name, address and phone number
- RFC number
Shipments from the U.S. into Mexico
The exporter (shipper) must complete a:
- U.S. Straight Bill of Lading
- Packing list
- Commercial invoice
- NAFTA Certificate of Origin
- Shipper’s Export Declaration (SED) if value exceeds $2,500
Shipments from Mexico into the U.S.
The exporter (shipper) must complete a:
- Mexican Bill of Lading (Orden de Servicio)
- Packing list
- Commercial invoice
- NAFTA Certificate of Origin
Shipments from Canada into Mexico
The exporter (shipper) must complete a:
- Canadian Bill of Lading
- Packing list
- Commercial invoice
- NAFTA Certificate of Origin if shipment is covered by NAFTA terms
In General
- The commercial invoice must be provided in Spanish. Translation services are usually provided by the forwarding agent or Mexican broker.
- Mexican Customs requires an export license and a NAFTA Certificate of Origin for some commodities; the U.S. forwarding agent or Mexican broker can advise you.
- The NAFTA Certificate of Origin proves where a product was manufactured and is required to verify that certain goods qualify for duty reduction or elimination.
