The fuel surcharge is adjusted each Wednesday at 12:01 a.m. (EST). Based on the national average price of diesel fuel as reported by the Energy Information Administration (U.S. Dept. of Energy), the fuel surcharge is determined based on the application in the preceding U.S. National Average Diesel Fuel Index.
